Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Medical Education Specialist, M1/M2 Basic Science Curriculum - Boca Raton, FL.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Collect and enter course and lecture session materials into our learning management systems and other curriculum databases as applicable.
Accurately schedule, update and maintain lecture recordings and ensure they are available to faculty and students in a timely fashion.
Assist with preparation, posting and/or distribution of large and small group session materials for all foundational science courses· Maintain all files and records associated with the curriculum and respective courses as directed.
Assist with the curriculum mapping process for courses as assigned.
Assist the Office of Medical Education (OME) in the coordination, preparation, set-up, and proctoring of all quizzes and exams across the curriculum. This may include cross-training in exam administration platforms and processes.
Assist with the logistics of Institutional Competency Assessment (ICA) week for all academic years and administration of Objective Structured Clinical Exams (OSCEs).
Assist with administrative support for other courses within the MD program as needed.
Work collaboratively with fellow members of the COM faculty and staff, including but not limited to the Office of Medical Education, the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center, and Office of Student Affairs.
Work with Course Directors, faculty and students in a responsive, courteous and professional manner.
Complete special projects and/or other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of appropriate experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of appropriate experience required.Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel as well as the ability to learn and maintain proficiency in new software programs.
