Medical Education Specialist
Implements training programs and tools to support customer-facing Medical Education for BSC Coronary Therapies customers. Provides clear and concise information to customers to give them a basic understanding of clinical research and methods.



Key Responsibilities

* Coordinates the planning and delivery of CT Medical Education customer training programs including in-person, virtual, observation, live broadcast, local dinner programs, and proctoring. Includes communications with customers to coordinate logistics for their participation in the event (e.g., hotel, transportation, schedule). Includes management of all aspects of registration including invitations, travel, and hotel accommodations to ensure that logistics are effectively managed for all participants and faculty.

* Acquire basic knowledge of BSC Coronary products and systems.

* Acquires, maintains, transports, and assures equipment used for hands-on customer training and education is present and functional at all Med Ed programs as well as national symposia training pavilions.

* Attends events to ensure that details associated with hands-on equipment, participants, lodging, faculty, and agendas are attended to and that problems are corrected.

* Works closely with cross-functional partners to ensure cohesiveness in messaging to field personnel and BSC customers and develops relationships with field personnel through scheduled meetings and other interactions.

* Develops relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to encourage continued participation and to foster positive relationships between Boston Scientific and clinicians..

* Conducts post-program evaluations and status reports, summarizing results and formulating recommendations to determine successes and areas of improvement, which will be used to improve subsequent program effectiveness.





Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:

* Complete, track, and archive documentation for compliance (including all contract requests, service requests, event requests, HCP spend reporting), HCP payments, vendor payments, and internal requirements.
