Medical Enablers in Roche is a group of people who are purpose-driven, experienced, and passionate with experience in medical affairs. We put patients and science at the center of all actions and we serve as the medical content expert in one or more therapeutic areas within the organization; build scientific partnership with external partners; ensure access to our products and clinical trials and attend diligently to patient safety and the needs of our healthcare professionals.

As a Medical Enabler (Medical Manager), you will work hand in hand with our external partners and internal teams to discover the unmet medical needs along the patient journey, being obsessed with what they need to deliver exceptional patient care and acting boldly with them to transform science and ultimately patient lives by accelerating \"better outcomes for more patients faster\". 

What you will be working on:

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive expertise of Medical affairs theories, techniques and technologies and fostering scientific collaborations and value based partnerships with the Oncology experts and other healthcare stakeholders across different healthcare systems. You will be:

Developing and cultivating strategic relationships with therapeutic area experts and other healthcare influencers

Translating insights into strategic actionable recommendations for varied and broad stakeholder groups to help deliver positive change in healthcare systems through co-creation

Advising on, contributing to, or leading the strategic planning and driving the desired outcomes, taking into account patients’ needs, market uniqueness, business needs, resource requirements, regulatory and market access considerations

Optimizing clinical development throughout the product lifecycle to bring better treatment to patients. 

Generating and communicating medical evidence that helps practitioners, patients and payers make good health care decisions

Initiating and implementing medical or innovative projects e.g. compassionate use program, local access mechanism to address access needs, or digital solutions

Internalizing the network way of working through transparent sharing of knowledge and resources to improve working effectiveness and create a bigger impact for the organizations

Working in a self-managed team of peers and acting as a coach or mentor with VACC mindset to make people hold each other accountable to deliver solutions for the healthcare systems effectively

Who you are:

Being a qualified Medical Affairs professional with a VACC (Visinary, Architect, Catalyst & Coach) mindset, you can identify opportunities, to experiment, to take risks and disrupt the status quo and thrive working in an empowered, dynamic and agile working environment, you are able to understand relationships, create purposeful strong internal/external collaborations with key stakeholders to mobilize systems towards change that enables better outcomes for patients. 

You have:

A degree in Medicine, MD or equivalent

10 years or equivalent relevant experience within the Medical Affairs field as Medical Adviser or Medical Manager

High level of interest in learning the science of  oncology disease area and therapeutic landscape and well-established collaborations and partnerships with the Oncology key opinion leaders

Comprehensive knowledge of the drug development process and Philippine medical/clinical landscape

Experience of writing clinical publications and delivery of scientific presentations

Enterprise thinking, eager to learn, system thinker, self-managed & directed, bold, and being able to prioritize

You are able to:

communicate effectively at all levels to influence and inspire

operate within a compliance-led regulatory environment

prioritize workload, analyze key problems, devise appropriate tactics, gain support and consensus and consequently drive change

leverage digital means and tools and incorporating agile ways of working

solve issues that impact the Medical Affairs group and wider business  and delivering on
