Responsible for maintaining home medical equipment (HME) operating software to ensure appropriate billing and inventory tracking.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Enters and makes changes to the home medical equipment (HME) software and maintains data.Manages price tables and ensures system is set up with the appropriate quantity limits and requirements to bill items correctly for all payers.Works closely with various departments on projects and takes ownership of report and data maintenance tasks.Communicates and facilitates software updates and version releases with operational teams.Works closely with revenue cycle team to ensure payer changes are reflected in the operating system.Runs reports and gathers data as needed. Provides analysis and presents data.Audits HME software system to ensure high level operability.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION
Associate's degree or equivalent years of related experience or education.
EXPERIENCE
Three years' experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.Frequent keyboard use/data entry.Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.Rare climbing.Work Shift:
