Medical Equipment Service Coordinator

**Job Description:**
The Clinical Engineering (CE) Equipment Service Coordinator provides system-wide coordination of medical equipment service requests and answers customer calls expediently and accurately. Assists in scheduling CE technicians to respond to emergent and non-emergent calls for service. Ensures efficient and accurate collection of call metrics for response time, uptime, and turnaround time.
**Shift Details: Mon to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM**
**Essential Functions**
+ Interacts with CE leadership and internal/external customers to identify improvement opportunities.
+ Assist in scheduling and participates in supplier service contract business reviews.
+ Evaluates workflows, service request dispatch processes, and assures service level compliance.
+ Ensures accurate data and information is entered into the computerized maintenance management system.
+ Provides oversight of Authorized Service Providers (ASP) to capture field service reports and service quality.
+ Develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between the end user and service providers.
+ Proactively identifies the needs of the stakeholders and implements customer specific solutions.
+ Provides input with regards to service contract management and performance monitoring.
+ Participates in service coordination including calls for service, purchases order generation, and review of service invoices.
+ Implements best practice models for inventory management using continuous improvement principles.

**Qualifications**
+ Five years of work experience in the complete management of equipment service contracts required.
+ Proven experience maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers and suppliers required.
+ Three years of experience working with accounts payable and supplier invoice review required
+ Experience with negotiating contracts, value analysis, and customer service is preferred.

+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
+ Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
+ May have the same physical requirements as those of clinical or patient care jobs when the leader takes clinical shifts.
+ For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing, and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$19.46 - $25.74
