The Medical Equipment Technician II - COE

provides cost-effective maintenance on company and customer-owned medical equipment to assure it is functioning properly to follow manufacturer

specifications. They

perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service under the guidance of a qualified Biomedical Equipment Technician or supervisor.

What You Will Do in This Role

Conduct cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on various medical devices including medical beds, infusion pumps, patient monitoring equipment, etc.Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure proper documentation for billing and regulatory compliance. Communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.

What You Will Need for This Role

High school diploma or equivalent required.Proficiency in both movable medical equipment (MME) and patient handling equipment (PHE) or found specialty work and expanded equipment knowledge. Demonstrated understanding of the requirements for servicing medical devices.Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.Maintain proper credentialing and vaccinations to work within customer locations.Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs, helping with Field Biomedical accounts as needed.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule.The ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds.The ability to often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Travel

Able to travel 25-30% of the time.
