Overview 28 hours per week Performs diagnostic radiological exams and procedures independently and may supervise new hires and student technologists from area colleges. Responsibilities * Administers all steps of the X-Ray with the patient: Pre-exam processing, performing the exam, and post-exam documentation. * Maintains cleanliness of all rooms, machines and cassettes in the department. * Maintains supply inventory. * Performs exams in diagnostic x-ray, fluoroscopy, ambuatory surgery center and dexa. * Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications * Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved allied health program specific to the modality employed. * Must be able to perform duties independently with minimal supervision. * Must be proficient in the use of Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Transport, and/or other computer systems unique to the specific imaging section. Required Licensure/Certifications - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (RT - R).
