Responsibilities

As a Medical Instrument Technician (Polysomnography) you will:

 

Conducts polysomnograms and CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) trials on patients in the sleep laboratory.Operates polysomnographic recording instruments to obtain an electroencephalographic record of a patient's sleep.Prepares the patient for tests by reassuring the patient, providing basic education concerning the nature of the testing, allaying fears, or misconceptions.Performs operator maintenance of all sleep laboratory equipment and requests maintenance on equipment that he/she cannot maintain as needed.

 

Qualifications

US Citizenship required

 

A certified Polysomnography Technologist is preferred
