For more information, please visit the following link: https://www.usajobs.gov/Help/working-in-government/benefits/ **Responsibilities** **POSITION DUTIES:** + Set up, adjust, and operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment. + Assist radiologist or physician in reading and/or evaluating results. + Perform magnetic resonance imaging of heads, spines, extremities, and bodies. + Receive patients and explain method of procedure, positions patients, counsel patients regarding the risks/benefits of the procedure. + Produce hard copy images by applying the correct width/levels (contrast and brightness) via a laser camera. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08). ***** **American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification is preferred, but not required.** **OR** **Education:** Two full years of graduate level education or a master's degree in a field directly related to the work of the position (You MUST submit a copy of your transcript with your application package.)
