Responsibilities
To provide interpreting and translation services to non-English speaking patients and families. To bridge the language barrier for non-English speaking patients and families by helping patients with any patient services such as Patient Accounts, Health Resource Center, Scheduling, etc. Assist Language Services Leadership with other duties as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Must be fluent in both oral and written English and the Target language. Must possess excellent listening and communication skills. The ability to interact with patients of all cultural diversities.
Preferred: Health care interpreting and translation experience is.
Preferred: Computer knowledge, experience with Word, Excel helpful.
Preferred: Have or agree to obtain CHI or CoreCHI (written exam by CCHI) or CMI or written exam by NBCMI, within 1 yr of hire date or sooner.
Must pass LLU language proficiency test.

Compensation range is $21.16 -$29.85 / hour.
