Your Role at Baxter

THIS IS WHERE you build trust to achieve results!

Provide excellent customer service while conducting contracted services as outlined in the Asset Advantage service agreement at designated contracted healthcare facilities. Use a PC-based computer system to supervise medical equipment throughout a healthcare facility or facility.

This full-time position follows a third-shift schedule, with working hours from 9:00pm to 5:30am, Sunday through Thursday. The selected candidate will perform their duties on-site at John Hopkins Hospital.

What You'll Be Doing:Ability to move and maneuver medical products within healthcare facilities unassisted using appropriate processes and safety techniquesConduct daily verification rounds and perform equipment decontamination procedures according to company and customer guidelinesAbility to assist nursing staff in transferring patientsResponsible for inventory, delivery, retrieval, and coordination of medical gasesAccurate utilization and maintenance of facilities and product being handledAssist with tracking and pulling assets due for preventative maintenanceResponsible for the completion of day to day activities assignedIdentify and communicate problems to management or Asset CoordinatorAttend monthly safety meetingsDemonstrate a proactive approach to safety awareness and complianceSuccessfully complete all required safety and compliance learning modules on a timely basisComplete medical testing in a timely mannerSustain a clean and safe work environment, including 5S activities.Identify safety concerns and accurate as vitalAbility to lift and carry up to 65 pounds using appropriate processes, including accurate safety and ergonomic proceduresPerform assistance with patient transfer, when requested (site applicable)Effective and professional communication with company and customer management/personnelEffective time management decisions to meet customer satisfaction issues

What You'll Bring:High school diploma or GED requiredGeneral computer knowledge with intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet preferredPrevious experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferredMust be reliable and organized.Employees should exhibit a professional attitude and appearance, while conforming to both company and customer policies and procedures.Ability to work within a team environment with an enthusiastic and positive work attitude.Ability to comprehend company and customer guidelines for infection controlAbility to perform all crucial duties and responsibilities in a safe, ergonomic, and ethical mannerAbility to follow company and site requirements on personal protective equipment (i.e. gloves, safety shoes, glasses, etc.)Ability to perform work duties with limited supervisionAbility to optimally connect with internal and external customers to drive a high level of customer satisfaction

Physical requirements:Ability to walk a minimum of seven miles per dayAbility to ‘tilt and roll’ oxygen tanks on/off carts and staging areas (ranging from 9 lbs. to 287 lbs.)Ability to push a cart of 24 to 40 “E” Cylinders (Cart weighs up to 400 lbs)(Tank programs only)Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $16.00 to $17.00 an hour. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
