As a Medical Laboratory Generalist with Vitalant, you support our life saving mission by providing support in the laboratory as you perform patient/donor testing, reagent, supply & inventory management, patient data entry, and provide customer service.

Whether you have recently graduated or have experience as a laboratory assistant, Vitalant offers an opportunity to work alongside Medical Laboratory Scientists and the opportunity to grow a rewarding career in the lab.  As a Medical Laboratory Generalist, Vitalant provides the opportunity to be selected to attend an internal Blood Bank training program which, after successful completion, you will be eligible to challenge the BB(ASCP) certification exam.

Schedule: 5:00 pm - 1:30 am (Including one weekend day, Saturday or Sunday)

Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services Maintains accurate records and documentationPerform routine maintenance on equipment and identify equipment malfunctionsPerform preparation and prequalification’s of reagentsManage Special Red Cell inventory and distribution Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Science Great customer service and interpersonal skills
