Perform moderate complexity testing in the lab for quality control of components, single donor platelet yields, and automated red cell technology problemsQC Testing, bacterial detection, inoculation, cell count, blood typing, titer testing.Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or clinical laboratory science required.
Certifications and Experience:
MLS I – Certification as a Medical Technologist/MLS/BB by a recognized certifying agency required. (or must receive certification within 6 months of eligibility). No experience required.MLS II- Certification as a Medical Technologist/MLS/BB by a recognized certifying agency or CLIA equivalent for high complexity testing required. Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
