Position Summary:

The Medical Laboratory Technologist performs blood collections and other specimens using aseptic technique.

Training and Continued Education

Opportunities for further education and training are available to our employees. 

Minimum Education

Has earned an associate degree in laboratory science or medical Laboratory technology from an accredited institution; and have at least one year of laboratory training or experience, or both, in high Complexity testing; or Achieved a satisfactory grade as a medical technologist in a proficiency examination approved by HHS, and after qualifying as a laboratory technologist has had at least one year of pertinent full-time laboratory experience; or Has earned a bachelor degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution; and have at least one year of laboratory training or experience, or both, in high complexity testing. BLS preferred.
