403b + matching Up to 4 weeks paid time off in first year Onsite childcare - Quincy & Pittsfield locations 24/7 Wellness Center access - Quincy & Pittsfield locations Educational assistance opportunities     JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for collecting and processing patient samples and performing clinical laboratory analysis at all complexity levels for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.   We are looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist with a strong background in Microbiology to work day shift primarily in this department. This busy department has a motivated, kind staff that are excited to add the right candidate to their team. 

This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process / Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: Associate Degree in MLT (unless waived by CLIA). Completion of one-year internship in an accredited MLT program. PREFERRED: N/A License/Certifications/Special Requirements: ASCP (or equivalent) registered Pay Status: NON-EXEMPT HOURLY
