 What to Expect:

Location:  Washington, PA and Wheeling WVA hospital.

Schedule: Nights 10:45 PM -7:15 AM (e/o W/E) Generous Night and W/E shift differential

                  Training Days: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM for 6 weeks Monday - Friday (875 Greentree in Pittsburgh, PA)

 As a Medical Technician, you’ll get to: 

Ensure accurate maintenance of data records and documentation. Perform moderate complexity testing including CMV, Hgb S testing, and operation of a cell counter. Perform high complexity testing including Antigen screens, antibody ID, and cross match. Manage the labeling of routine and special components and review criteria to determine product acceptability. Assist in reconciling reports.

Associates degree in laboratory science, medical laboratory technology required. MLT certification required or qualification for CLIA High Complexity required. One year of laboratory experience required   or MLT certification required without lab experience.
