The primary responsibilities of the Medical Laboratory Technician include supporting physicians' diagnosis and treatment of diseases by conducting tissue, blood and other bodily fluid tests.

Additional responsibilities may include verifying test results, updating physicians and researchers on test results and other duties as determined by their supervisor.
