Overview The Medical Laboratory Scientist Generalist is responsible for the performance of diagnostic procedures in their assigned areas, including critical functions such as blood banking. This position requires a highly skilled individual who is proficient in all areas covered by their licensure. Additionally, the role supports strong collaboration and maintains an excellent rapport between Laboratory staff and other hospital departments. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) Associates degree in MLT or related field (Required) Certificate training program at an approved school for Medical Technician level training leading to state licensure Licensure/Certification/Registration Current Florida License TC - Laboratory Clinical Technician Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Previous laboratory experience preferred This position will be required to work every other Sunday and Saturday rotation Blood Banking Experience
