Under the general direction of the Laboratory Director, the employee performs, evaluates and reports results on specimens received for analysis; solves problems, instructs new employees and students, operates instruments and performs maintenance function checks and troubleshooting.  Follows the principles outlined in the Compliance/ Integrity Program Handbook and adheres to all regulatory requirements for this position.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: Related health sciences Current 3+1 student enrolled in PSHMC MT Program. Upon hire: National Certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists Or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts Or Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Upon hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Required upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government
