Maintains department and equipment in a condition to promote efficiency, quality control, and safety to staff. Develops and monitors preventative maintenance program and communicates any equipment malfunctions to appropriate people. Completes proficiency testing and quality control evaluations and analysis for site(s) for which they are responsible.Maintains inventory of materials, forms and supplies according to department standards. Makes recommendations for capital equipment, as needed.Assesses the educational needs of patients, staff, and other members of the health care team and develops implements, evaluates and revises educational in-services / programs to meet those needs. Oversees the training of students and new staff.
