This is a full-time position. No nights, holidays, or weekends
ResponsibilitiesAnswering phones, greeting guests, checking in patients, and scheduling appointments.
Manage paper documents, fax inbox, and internal and external requests for patients’ health records. Review patient charts for accurate clinical information/documentation. Review electronic stored disclosures; help to update expired disclosures. Update patient medical orders in relation to patient records obtained. Document medical test results. Ensure that initial treatment plans are available for physician signature in the required timeframe. Explain and obtain patient signatures on treatment and payment forms.
Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant training program. Current CMA, CMOA, or CNA certification. Intermediate computer skills using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and an electronic medical record. Strong keyboarding skills. Extensive knowledge of common medical and medical office procedures and use of office equipment. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Attention to detail. Discretion with HIPAA and other confidential information. Ability to work independently and to manage several tasks at one time.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $18.00 - $20.50 an hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
