Position Details:

Location: Pinellas County, FL (Clearwater, Largo, St Pete, etc)Status: Full Time (non-exempt)Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (may vary)

The Medical Office Rep is responsible for:

Supports the physician's office health care teamGreets and signs in patientsObtains patient informationSchedules patient appointmentsAssists with patient inquiriesMay arrange for other proceduresLaboratory and consultations with referral doctorsCollects and posts paymentsAssists patients with billing questionsEnsures completeness of encounter form prior to patient checkoutSorts and distributes mailCopies medical records

 

 Required Education:

High School or Equivalent

 

Experience:

Required 6 months of healthcareOr 6 months of Customer Service
