The Medical Office Rep, supports the physician's office health care team, greets and signs in patients, obtains patient information, schedules patient appointments, assists with patient inquiries, may arrange for other procedures, laboratory and consultations with referral doctors, collects and posts payments, assists patients with billing questions, ensures completeness of encounter form prior to patient checkout, sorts and distributes mail, copies medical records.
Required experience includes 1 year of Medical Office Rep experience.
This is a Pool status position that requires travel to different sites throughout one of the following counties: Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough or Polk County. This includes a minimum of 3 shifts per month with a maximum of 10 shifts per month.
This position requires a mandatory two-week onsite training. You will train for one week in Largo and one week in Tampa.
