The Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine and the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center at the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine is recruiting for Clinician-Investigator Medical Oncologists for Faculty Positions. 
 
The successful candidates would join a thriving multidisciplinary medical oncology practice and be able to leverage world-class scientific collaborations and robust infrastructure for investigator-initiated and population-based clinical trials. 
 
We expect that these individuals will hold an academic appointments in the Department of Medicine. They will report to the Chief of Hematology & Medical Oncology and be expected to have administrative, clinical, teaching, and research responsibilities in the Mays Cancer Center, one of the nation's NCI-Designated Cancer Centers with over a 40 year tradition of excellence in development of new cancer therapies, understanding cancer biology, and decreasing the burden of Cancer in San Antonio and South Texas.
 
Subspecialty Medical Oncology experience/expertise in patient care and clinical trials is preferred and the ideal candidate will be expected to contribute to the clinical and research programs of our multidisciplinary practice. Candidates should hold an M.D. or M.D./PhD and be board certified/eligible in Medical Oncology and eligible for licensure by the Texas Medical Board.
