Job Summary Tower Health is seeking a full-time Medical Physicist in Radiation Oncology with primary appointment at McGlinn Cancer Institute - Reading Hospital. Reading Hospital boasts 3 linear accelerators and robust SRS, SBRT, online adaptive, and HDR programs. Linacs include an Ethos, Trilogy, and IX, with an Edge in the pipeline to replace the Trilogy. Other equipment/ software used include ARIA/Eclipse, Bravos HDR, Somatom CT-Sim, BrainLab ExacTrac, cylindrical 3D scanner, SRS MapCheck, IC Profiler, Modus motion phantom, Portal Dosimetry, IQM, ClearCheck, AI Contouring, and Mobius3D. The successful candidate will join a team of two physicists, four dosimetrists, and one service engineer. Physicists at Reading Hospital are heavily involved clinically, leading the technical teams for the above-mentioned advanced procedures, so candidates should have exceptional communication skills and expect to perform in a collaborative environment. Radiation Oncology department recently underwent extensive renovations, which included a new linac space, 6 additional exam rooms, and dedicated physicist workroom.
