Join a Dynamic Team! Consisting of three medical physicists and two dosimetrists providing clinical services to the ACR accredited Radiation Oncology Department at the Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center situated in Hartford, Connecticut.  We are one of the most progressive and beautiful outpatient treatment facilities in New England.  Our Radiation Oncology department is staffed by four radiation oncologists, an administrative director, a chief radiation therapist and 9 staff radiation therapists. Our state-of-the-art-technology and programs include a Varian Acuity Simulator, Philips Brilliance Big Bore CT simulator, two Varian Clinac iX linear accelerators with MLC’s, OBI, and ASi Portal Imagers, MOSAIQ record and verify system, RayStation, Elekta HDR unit, active prostate permanent implant brachytherapy program, as well as an extensive Cyberknife SRS/SBRT program.

The ideal candidate would join a team of dedicated dosimetrists that support treatment planning for clinics throughout Connecticut and would work collaboratively on site and remotely to ensure high quality treatment plans for our patients throughout our system of care.

You Will Be Responsible For:

Requirements:

Education: B.S. degree candidates are preferable. Prior RayStation experience is an advantage but not required.Experience: Three or more years of relevant clinical experience and CMD are desirable but consideration will be given to all qualifying candidates. Excellent English oral and written communication skills are essential.
