Medical Records Clerk - Cardiology

The Medical Records Specialist, under the supervision of the Manager or designee, is responsible for performing routine clerical functions in the Health Information Management (HIM) department and entering patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) according to standard procedures and specific direction in compliance with HIPAA regulations. This includes, but is not limited to sorting, scanning, indexing and managing release of information.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year Medical office/record experience Medical Terminology Health Care experience EMR experience
