Job Specific: Maintain health information services for the community in accordance with current laws, regulations and professional practice standards. Maintain a filing system for both in-house and discharged residents to facilitate record retrieval and access. Audit in-house records for accuracy and completeness according to the established schedule. Maintain current resident information in the computer file and generate the necessary reports in accordance with the established schedule. Assist the nursing staff in preparing discharge and transfer records. ? Maintain various control logs and files that are current. Assist with Utilization Review, Quality Assessment/Assurance and other committee meetings when instructed by the Administrator.
