• Responsible for developing business opportunities in his/her territory by meeting key customers to achieve individual sales target set by the Company through one-to-one meetings, group presentations or seminars.
• Ensure compliance of marketing activities to relevant regulatory codes, industry best practices and ethical standards as well as to ensure that all marketing activities are carried out within the ambit of the law.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and strive to develop the most appropriate sales strategies and tactics to sell products effectively to both new and existing customers.
• Work closely with other members of the team to maximize selling opportunities through sharing information on market trends, competitor activity, supply issues etc.
• Manage distributors / wholesalers / retailers including monitoring their stock levels and ensuring timely payment of accounts.
• Analyse data and identify trends, patterns and insights relating to the market and customers; use these insights to inform future marketing strategies and plans.
• Assist in training of less experienced staffs when required.
• Obtain feedback from healthcare professionals on product quality and effectiveness and communicate such feedback to internal stakeholders as appropriate.
• Engage in lifelong learning opportunities to improve knowledge and skills relating to the business e.g. participating in conferences, workshops, webcasts etc.
