Description We are a healthcare organization based in Tucson, Arizona, offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity. We are looking for a Medical Scheduler to become a part of our team. The role involves managing patient appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, and delivering top-notch customer service. Responsibilities: • Address incoming calls from patients, respond to their inquiries, and manage appointment cancellations and rescheduling requests. • Keep patient records up-to-date by verifying and updating patient demographics, insurance information, and medical history. • Arrange patient appointments for consultations, check-ups, procedures, and follow-up visits, working in tandem with medical staff to ensure availability and accuracy. • Use the electronic medical record system to accurately input patient details. • Clearly convey appointment details to patients, including date, time, location, and provider information. • Oversee scheduling systems to prevent double-booking and optimize clinic flow, including sending appointment reminders via phone, text, or email to patients. • Support billing functions, such as collecting copayments and verifying insurance eligibility for appointments. • Employ CRM and EHR system skills to manage and track patient interactions and records. • Deliver exceptional call center customer service, demonstrating a detail-oriented demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
