Description Robert Half is looking for a Medical Scheduler to join our client in the healthcare industry in NE Portland, Oregon. As a Medical Scheduler, your key responsibility is to manage and coordinate patient appointments and patient communication, ensure efficient usage of the appointment schedule software, and deliver exemplary customer service. Responsibilities: • Efficiently managing inbound calls and patient inquiries • Coordinating and scheduling patient appointments using Epic EMR • Demonstrating adaptability in adjusting patient schedules and appointments as necessary • Utilizing CRM to maintain and update patient records and appointment details • Providing top-notch customer service while interacting with patients • Assisting patients with their queries and concerns related to their appointments and schedules • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient records are kept in the EHR system • Monitoring patient accounts and taking necessary actions based on their status. Requirements Requirements: • Experience in answering inbound calls and providing information. • Familiarity with Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. • Skilled in scheduling appointments, including patient appointments. • Ability to assist patients with their queries and concerns efficiently. • Knowledge in using scheduling software for managing appointments. • Excellent customer service skills to ensure high-quality patient care. • Must be easily adaptable to changes in scheduling and other job-related tasks.
