The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is responsible for providing fair, balanced, objective, scientific information and education to healthcare professionals and to internal partners as required by scientific and business needs. The MSL is considered the scientific and clinical source for current and future Johnson & Johnson Neuroscience products. The MSL is also responsible for staying abreast of current scientific and treatment landscape trends in therapeutic areas of interest. The MSL provides research support for company and investigator-initiated research. Key Responsibilities: + Build external relationships with the health care provider team and develop and manage a geographical territory. + Develop and maintain a territory strategic plan, including clinical activities with identified KOLs, customers, institutions, community practices, pathways influencers, and advocacy organizations. + Develop competency in the areas of Influence & Results Focused, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Product & Therapeutic Area Knowledge, and Data Insights & Dissemination. + Demonstrate the ability to build community and academic opinion leader partnerships through establishing relationships and conducting scientific exchange with community and institutional HCPs. + Execute research initiatives, maintain strong scientific acumen, and support department operations and internal partners. + Actively listen for, document and share medical insights. + Develop in the area of agility, applying the competencies of change management, time management and innovation to the role. + Represent and support Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine Neuroscience scientific meetings, including congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and investigator meetings. Interpret and report findings with recommendations for action to relevant internal partners. + Conduct all activities in accordance with current regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines. **Qualifications** + PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, DNP or DPAS, or other advanced medical degree i.e. Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with at least 2 years relevant TA experience + 2+ years professional experience, which can include clinical, research, fellowship, or pharmaceutical work experience + Ability to support travel of 50-70% which includes overnight travel, including some weekend commitments + Ability to drive to or fly to various meetings/congresses/headquarters + A valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record Preferred: + Knowledge or experience in Mood/Psychiatry + Pharmaceutical industry experience + Previous experience as an MSL Please note this position does not offer relocation.
