**Medical Science Liaison (MSL)** **THE POSITION** We are looking for a **Medical Science Liaison (MSL)** in Budapest, Hungary: The primary responsibility of the MSL is to support scientific exchange and cooperation with External Experts by responding to their research and scientific information needs for the designated therapeutic area. Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a non-promotional function. Related Performance Indicators ARE NOT connected with sales results. + Build and maintain medical expertise for the respective product and therapeutic area. + Act as primary medical contact and develop effective relationships with external experts. Ensure scientific product information and lead medical projects to support the effective and safe use of our products (e.g. symposia, advisory board meetings). + Provide strategic medical input for local integrated brand planning. + Ensure successful launch of new products/indications. + Optimize the Medico-Marketing interaction and contribute with medical expertise to drug commercialization efforts. Coordinate overview and monitor the effectiveness of local medical activities and programs such as non-interventional studies, non-trial activities, IIS or compassionate use programs. Implement publication strategies in accordance with the local/global product positioning. + Ensure compliance with local legal regulations and internal Standard Operating Procedures. + Provide medical training to ensure sufficient product knowledge of Medical Representatives and other departments. **REQUIRED DEGREE / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE** + Sound pharma experience, preferred in medical affairs and knowledge of drug development, pharmacovigilance, scientific and/or regulatory affairs. + Relevant university/college degree (medical doctor or pharmacist or life sciences). + Experience in the generation, publication and interpretation of clinical relevant data according to criteria of evidence based medicine. + Strong business mind-set and thorough knowledge of understanding external customer’s needs and compliance requirements. + Ability to understand both business and medical needs to create climate of effective Medico-Marketing partnership. **REQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES** + Good organizational, analytical, decision-making skills with strategic capabilities. + Strong lateral leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. + Proactive attitude. + Team- and networker. + Strong English language knowledge, both written and oral. + Hungarian language knowledge is a must. **WHAT WE OFFER** Competitive compensation package, learning & development opportunities.
