Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Epilepsy and Rare Diseases

We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Epilepsy and Rare Diseases who is dynamic, collaborative, and patient-focused to join us in our Medical Affairs team, to cover for the Belgium & Luxembourg area.

 

 

About the role

You will be the key scientific expert in the field of neurology, focusing on rare diseases and epilepsy indications. You will engage with healthcare professionals, develop scientific relationships, provide medical insights, and drive strategies to improve patient outcomes and value creation. In addition, you will build local medical plan, conduct advisory boards and arrange scientific symposiums. The role is a field-based (60%) scientific position

 

 

Who you’ll work with

You will be working in a multidisciplinary team including Market Access, Commercial, and Medical colleagues, alongside key opinion leaders, patient advocacy groups, and researchers. Together, you will co-create personalized solutions and foster a deep understanding of neurological diseases to deliver maximum impact for patients

 

What will you do:

Agile and proactive identification and management of key scientific and medical influencers based on local ecosystem dynamics.Shares insights, innovation, opportunities and patient needs internally to the patient-value units.Develop relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, and patient advocacy groups.Collaborate with internal teams to align on medical and strategic plans.Collect and analyze customer insights using the latest digital tools.Support local evidence generation, including real-world evidence and clinical studies.

 

Iinterested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

Advanced degree (PharmD, Ph.D., or M.D.) with experience as a Medical Science Liaison (launch experience is a huge advantage).Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English, with strong communication and presentation skills.Digital literacy and ability to work independently and collaboratively.Willingness to travel regularly; valid driver's license requiredBusiness acumen with a good understanding and holistic view on the local healthcare ecosystem.          Influencing skills, by building trust, staying consistent and being assertive in a considerate way Ability to lead and manage multiple projects
