Responsibilities Specializes in charting physician-patient encounters in real time, such as during medical examinations and/or procedures. Performs basic documentation/communication skills, reporting patient conditions, circumstances, and maintaining equipment and unit cleanliness Responsible for performing functions as authorized under the direct supervision of various medical staff (MD, DO, APP, RN, LVN) Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit Qualifications Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Graduate from a medical assisting program or medical transcripition experience CPR Certification Preferred Job Requirements: Experience working as a medical scribe Experience charting in an EMR Medical Terminology (i.e. Anatomy and Physiology)
