Medical Scribe Schedule – Monday-Thursday 6:45am – 4:30pm (40 hr work week) Dress Code – Business Casual or Scrubs Will be responsible for transcription of patient medical information and other assigned typingduties using transcribing and word-processing equipment. Coordinates, distributes, and files output. · Transcribes dictation medical reports and correspondence directly from the Provider · Ensures correct spelling of medical terms and other words; ensures correct punctuation and grammar · Makes necessary corrections without changing the test meaning · Distributes completed documents in designated folders to dictating person within timeframe designated · Makes corrections as necessary · Fax reports to outside physicians who have referred patients to the clinic or internal physicians that have referred tothem · Will be working in NextGen Necessary Skills and Strengths: Medical Terminology| EMR| Medical Terminology Core Experience: · Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA,CCMA,NRCMA,NCMA,RMA) · Medical Scribe experience Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
