Monday-Thursday (between 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Competitive Pay - $18.00+ an hour Expedited Interviews – Access to additional Resume support and pre-interview questions A day in the role… + The Medical Scribe is responsible for transcription of patient medical information and other assigned typing duties using transcribing and word-processing equipment. Coordinates, distributes, and files output. Functions in a multi-disciplinary environment, which requires the application of excellent customer services skills. + Major Duties and Responsibilities + Transcribes dictation medical reports and correspondence directly from the Provider + Ensures correct spelling of medical terms and other words; ensures correct punctuation and grammar. Makes necessary corrections without changing the test meaning. + Distributes completed documents in designated folders to dictating person within timeframe designated. Makes corrections as necessary. + Fax reports to outside physicians who have referred patients to the clinic or internal physicians that have referred to them. + This person will be directly supporting Dr. Light and will be in the room with him as his scribe for all visits. He sees about 30-35 patients per day + Putting all notes into their EMR which is NexGen Necessary Skills and Strengths: Medical Scribing | Medical Transcription | Medical Office | EMR Experience | Procedure Notes | Medical Terminology | Data Entry | 60 WPM | Attention to Details | Efficiency Core Experience: + 6 months to 1 year of Scribe Experience + Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, NRCMA, NCMA, or RMA). + EMR Experience + Ability to type 60 WPM Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
