Description They see 50-60 patients per day Will be utilizing EPIC software to schedule patients for surgeries Answer phones Will be getting pre-authorizations for insurance for patients before them come in for surgeries, appointments, check ups Will be calling Dr offices/hospitals for pre-op results Will be verifying insurance on a daily basis Must be very knowledgeable in insurance companies and the process Will be calling drs. clinics to get customer scans medical records Skills customer service, patient scheduling, healthcare, insurance verification, epic, surgical scheduling, surgery scheduling Top Skills Details customer service,patient scheduling,healthcare Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have at least 1+ years working in Med Sec/Surgery Scheduler/Front Desk/Scheduling role within hospital OR High Volume medical clinic IDEAL to have used EPIC before Must have a High School Diploma Must be comfortable working with difficult patients coming in the door Must have EXCELLENT customer service skills Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
