+ JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS + Job Summary : + Provides social work services and interventions across the continuum of care. + Education : + Position requires a Master's in Social Work from an accredited college or university. + Registration/Certification/Licensure : + Maryland LCSW, LCSW-C or LMSW. (If LMSW, obtain independent practitioner license within 2 years of hire or transfer date.) + If licensed in a state other than Maryland, eligible to apply or be endorsed for licensure in Maryland. + Experience : + Two (2) years social work or related experience is preferred. Experience with oncology social work is preferred. + Other Requirements : + Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements. + Effectively communicates with all patient populations and staff by implementing organization-wide communication techniques as a daily practice. + Effectively advocates for quality patient safety and satisfaction as a daily practice. + Demonstrated proficiency of computer skills necessary to effectively complete documentation requirements. + Previous experience and demonstrated professionalism in effectively communicating with customers and in promoting a positive service atmosphere. + If LMSW, participates in supervision per licensure requirements. + Ability to work independently, prioritize concurrent projects, meet deadlines, follow through with deliverables, and produce quality work.
