Medical Staff Coordinator
Overview:

*All positions are located in Fresno/Clovis CA*

 

We're looking for a Medical Staff Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will be essential to supporting Medical Staff Services. We are looking for a passionate team member who can carry out a variety of administrative duties and anticipate the needs of Medical Staff committees and leadership. Critical thinking skills will be key as you assess situations and determine the best course of action to complete assignments. From assisting with the triage of all department visitors, to the maintenance of department supplies, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in your Medical Staff Coordinator abilities.

Responsibilities:

In your role, you will:

Provide quality and ethical customer service to all practitioners, patients, other hospital departments, medical group liaisons and other hospital/healthcare entities.Process, ensure mail-out and track all requests for initial application packets. Prepare, maintain, ensure timely mail-out of all reappointment packets.Maintain and update all expired documents (i.e. licensures, DEA, malpractice insurance, various certifications, etc). Track and maintain acceptance of initial application fees and reappointment dues.  Maintain and ensure practitioner compliance with assigned status such as ACLS, PPD, etc.Be responsible for obtaining, reviewing and processing monthly disciplinary/sanction reports from the Medical Board of California.Ensure resource equipment, supplies, manuals are ordered and updated and maintained for the department. Receive, process incoming mail, correspondence and distribute as appropriate.Qualifications:

Education

High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate requiredAssociate's Degree preferred

Experience

3 years of previous experience in a Customer Service related field required
