Supervisor or Manager as well as data analyst or research experience preferred. **Schedule** Hybrid - 2 days remote/3 in office 7:30 to 4 pm. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more. The Medical Staff Services Department of Alton Memorial Hospital main purpose is to manage all medical staff activities including medical staff quality improvement programs. This includes managing effective and efficient systems to support the medical s **Preferred Qualifications** **Role Purpose** Oversees the Medical Staff office and the credentialing process. May also oversee physician engagement efforts. **Responsibilities** + Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. + Directs, plans and organizes the medical staff department and ensures priorities are being met. + Provides leadership to all credentialing activities. + Manages the appointment and privileging of medical staff members. + Ensures compliance with regulatory standards as they apply to the medical staff bylaws and credentialing. + Develops education to enhance staff awareness of credentialing process and regulatory standards. + Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets.
