Title: Medical Staff Specialist

Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assuring departmental and hospital regulatory compliance with the credentialing and re-credentialing processes requiring Medical Staff committee approval. Monitors practitioner membership and privileging eligibility and maintains credentialing and other Medical Staff Office data bases. Performs other duties as assigned.

 Experience

Required - 3 years Medical Staff Office operationsOr - 1 year credentialing/credentialing supportOr - 2 years Administrative Support

Experience

Required - High School or EquivalentPreferred - Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration

Certifications

Preferred - CPCS (Credentialing)
