Job Summary
Coordinates information flow between two or more areas of a single function. Under general supervision may schedule activities, delegate responsibilities and/or provide notification to others as to status of the function.
Job Responsibilities
Receive and process medical staff applications and re-applications. Works with medical staff committees on agenda and minutes. Provides clerical support as needed.
Education
Required: High School Graduate or equivalent
Experience
Required: 3 years in Medical Staff support role
Preferred: Previous hospital provider credentialing experience highly preferred.
Certifications
Required: CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist)
Preferred: CPMSM upon hire
