Site Name: Japan - Tokyo - Akasaka Posted Date: Jan 14 2025 Job description To strengthen the JMA(Japan Medical Affairs) and adapt to and transform for upcoming new product lines, we are seeking a candidate who can lead innovation and performance and leverage digital initiatives. This position aims to maximize the outcomes and capabilities of the JMA as a priority country of the CPO(Chief Patient Officer)organization, closely collaborating with global, regional and Japan strategies, and being responsible for the innovation and execution of medical strategies. Key responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Country Medical Director, providing critical support in strategic decision-making processes. Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive strategic plans, ensuring alignment with unmet medical needs and organizational goals. Drive the formulation and execution of long-term medical strategies, ensuring they are innovative, evidence-based, and aligned with global, regional and Japan priorities. Executive Project Management: Oversee and manage high-impact projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Lead, coordinate, and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering effective communication, collaboration, and accountability at all levels. Transformational Change Management: Champion and drive major change management initiatives to ensure the successful implementation of new processes, systems, and organizational changes. Develop and execute robust change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, and training programs. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, making data-driven adjustments to achieve desired outcomes and sustainable improvements. Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate and promote effective communication and collaboration across departments, both within Japan and global, regional, to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Innovation and Digital Initiatives: Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of innovative digital initiatives to enhance the capabilities and performance of the JMA. Drive the adoption of cutting-edge digital tools and platforms to improve efficiency, data analysis, and decision-making processes within medical affairs. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the JMA, encouraging the exploration of new ideas and technologies. ※職務内容および勤務地の変更範囲は会社の定めるところとする。 必要な条件Basic Qualification スキル Skill Visionary leadership with the ability to drive innovation and transformation. Strategic and analytical mindset. Strong organizational and project management skills. Proficiency in digital tools and platforms relevant to medical affairs. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 経験 Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, change management, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and driving change initiatives. 学位/資格/語学力 Education/certification/Language Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field such as sciences or business administration. Proven track record of developing and executing successful medical strategies.
