The UW School of Medicine’s Department of Surgery has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Student Education Program Coordinator in the Education Division. This position is 50% (.5 FTE) and 100% remote. **POSITION PURPOSE** The Medical Student Education Program Coordinator, under the guidance of the Medical Student Program Manager is responsible for executing duties, both daily and cyclical, that are within the scope of the Program Coordinator position and that assist in the success of education programs. They will work with several offices outside the Department of Surgery and must gain credibility, and trust, and have a cordial working relationship with individuals in these offices. The Program Coordinator will have access to and will need to know sensitive data to accomplish their duties. They must be able to exercise discretion and hold information confidential. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience Equivalent education/experience can substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
