Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations. Position requires providing service to one or more age groups including young adults through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. **Responsibilities:** + Assists nursing staff in providing patient care + Assists other health team members in meeting patient/family education needs. Introduces self and role when interactingwith patients and families. Completes walking rounds and white boards.Manages patient pain level through administration of comfort measures: warm blanket, ice, elevation etc.Completes required documentation in patient's chart. + Maintains and organizes unit supplies and equipment + Maintains Personal and Professional responsibility Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days.
