Description:

Overnight Hematology Medical Laboratory Technologist supervises operations and experiments within the laboratory.

Must Haves:

1. NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license

2. Professional experience working in hematology

3. Comfortable reading slides/manual differentials

Shift:

Overnight

Flexible - can choose from the following;10pm - 6am 11pm - 7am 12am - 8am 1am -9am

Job responsibilities:

The overnight hematology technologist will be responsible for the following: Reading slides, reading the different red/white blood cell counts and counting themresponsible for QC being run and correctlooking through softwarevalidating any abnormalities from slidesurinalysis microscopymust have good communication skills, able to communicate if instrument is down, candidates must be proactive and willing to work.

Work Environment:

Private medical lab located in Brooklyn Navy Yard. Each shift has 1-2 Techs and 3-4 lab aids
