The Opportunity
As a strategic partner within the integrated ecosystem strategy, the Medical Value Partner integrates insights and data from the healthcare ecosystem to align with Roche’s strategic imperatives, driving innovation for patients. This role includes providing scientific and clinical expertise in assigned disease areas and patient journeys, covering pipeline products, diagnostics, and digital healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities:
Strategic partner within integrated ecosystem strategy: Integrates insights and data from the healthcare ecosystem, and connects them with Roche strategic imperatives to bring innovation to our patients, by being an active partner in the definition and implementation of strategic roadmaps particularly at the Affiliate level.
Medical/Scientific Expert: Maintains and provides internally and externally adequate scientific and clinical expertise in assigned DA and the patient journey, including pipeline products, diagnostics and digital healthcare solutions as applicable.
Evidence Generation: This position has a key role in the process of evidence generation (EG), particularly identifying and communicating potential evidence gaps and EG needs, and prioritization within the DA team, to inform iEP and support data generation plans.
License to Operate: Ensures the highest ethical, scientific and quality standards, patients’ safety and safeguarding Roche’s reputation.
Working in networks: Lead the connection and leveraging of Roche resources from across the Global Organization to fully harness our potential to improve patient outcome.
Who you are
Comprehensive Healthcare Knowledge: Good understanding of the healthcare system environment, including healthcare policy, reimbursement, and health technology assessment environments.
Pharmaceutical and Market Expertise: Robust understanding of pharmaceutical drug development, medical affairs strategies and tactics, including clinical research, industry compliance processes, dedicated DA and product knowledge, competition knowledge, and understanding of fast-paced, highly competitive market dynamics.
Data and Evidence Skills: Strong skills in data comprehension, critical appraisal, synthesis, interpretation, and delivery, along with knowledge in evidence generation and GxP.
Scientific and Digital Health Insight: Competence in scientific and publication management, with a strong understanding and interest in current trends in digital health.
Strategic and Communication Abilities: Proficient in strategic planning with strong communication skills.
