Responsibilities
This position will provide data management and analysis for the government reimbursement (Medicare/Medicaid) operations across Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Health System.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Identify, organize, and analyze data to support Medicare/Medicaid financial performance.
• Evaluate and optimize the government reimbursement process, with an emphasis on new opportunities for reimbursement.
• Research and analyze new and existing Medicare Part A and B, and other government regulations and policies to identify practice strategies and ensure compliance.
• Perform Medicare cost reporting responsibilities, government reporting responsibilities, and compliance analysis.
The position will interact with administration, physician leadership, finance, revenue cycle, compliance office, and other operational personnel throughout Mayo Clinic.

Qualifications
Master's degree in healthcare, business administration, finance, or accounting, and/or CPA with two years of experience in Medicare reimbursement or Bachelor's degree with five years of Medicare reimbursement or accounting/finance related experience.
A high level of data/analytical skills preferred. Previous external consulting or auditing experience, working with a hospital system, integrated delivery system or Medicare contractor is desirable but not required. Qualified candidate needs to have outstanding communication skills and demonstrate excellent team building skills, be assertive, highly motivated, have a positive attitude, and be able to work independently. Detailed knowledge of cost reporting software, Power BI, data/financial modeling, process improvement, Medicare and other government regulations.

$93,204.80 - $130,499.20 / year. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
