Corporate Claims is creating an operations team to support all of aspects of Medicare compliance from Section 111 reporting to MSP conditional payment recovery.  Working knowledge of basic Medicare reporting concepts, procedures and processes is required.   The ideal candidate must be curious, willing to invest time to dig deeper, able to apply root cause analysis concepts and promote process standardization.

Essential Job Functions and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all aspects of projects through completion.  Projects typically pertain to processes, services or products and may include some technical projects.Coordinates activities of the team and identifies needed resources.Develops schedules to ensure timely completion.Sets deadlines and assigns responsibilities.Monitors and summarizes progress of the project.Ensures effective implementation and that department personnel receive appropriate training.Conducts post-project assessment(s).Ensures optimum utilization of resources and management of budgetary targets to meet goals.Effectively communicates to project team members.  Understands project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member.Coordinates communications between project staff, stake holders and key resources.Participates in negotiations and documents specifications and scope. Sets/clarifies customer expectations. Communicates project status to ensure customer satisfaction.Responsible for completing projects on time, within budget and according to project specifications.Leverages divisional and intra-company relationships and knowledge of the business/functional unit, organization and industry to accomplish objectives.Provides guidance and assistance to lower level positions and other functional areas.May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.Performs other duties as assigned. Partner with CMS contractors (CRC, BCRC) to resolve pending cases, issues associated with recoveries.Assist with onboarding of Divisions to the Medicare Shared Service program.Continuous learning through participation at industry conferences and webinars.Review, audit and respond to conditional payment notices and demands.Lead projects to ensure compliance with Medicare (ie. Data repair, MSA capture, avoiding Treasury referrals, go paperless).Collaborate with business partners (internal) to identify opportunities to improve workflows to support accuracy of data capture.Trending and analysis of outlier data such as Beneficiary no match, and implementing action plan to resolve.Compile monthly activities and report out focusing on results and next steps.Provide training as requested on aspects of Section 111 and MSP recovery procedures.

Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.Field of Study: Business or related field.Experience: Generally, 5 or more years of related experience.
